Mary Ann van Berlo: Winter interest in the garden
Are you tired of a bleak winter landscape?
Mary Ann will share some ideas to add winter interest by enhancing the bones of the garden and choosing the right plants and features.
Mary Ann has been hostess to many visitors to her Maitland garden over the past several summers; including the 2018 Garden Ontario convention tour, the 1000 Islands & Rideau Canal Garden Trail, and her Open Garden in July 2022; showcasing her amazing collection of colourful perennials.

Admission is free to members of Gardening Kingston. The Guest fee is $3.00.
Our meeting location is 2nd floor hall of the Kingston Unitarian Place, located at 206 Concession Street, Kingston, between MacDonnell Street and Victoria Street. Parking is at the back of the building.
KUF can be reached by using Kingston Transit. Route 16 runs by KUF every half hour from Monday to Saturday, and hourly on evenings and Sunday. Buses also run along Princess Street, three blocks away from KUF, every 15 minutes Monday to Saturday. For more information, check out Kingston Transit.
Gardening Kingston 
I would love to attend. To do that, need to know more about ventilation in the space and the number of people expected. As an occupational health person, I am practicing what I preach about COVID-19-related protections and don’t go indoors with groups of people I don’t know, at least without a respirator and ventilation info.
