Welcome to Gardening Kingston!

Message from the President

Welcome to Gardening Kingston!

Happy to see you. Hope you enjoy your visit.

Gardening is a work of heart. The space created can be any size, and shape, any dimension filled with pride, admiration, and contentment. There is room to grow with it and respond to the changes that surround it. It nourishes and feeds the soul.

Gardening is a big-time experiment. The plant selection flourishes in the sun or the shade, in the wet and the dry. I will add this new plant and watch for results. I will investigate and search, talk to a friend to hear their story. It supports my curiosity.

Gardening is full of surprises. Look for the unexpected. Being hopeful and patient by the emerging beauty, the transition to colour, and the continuous play of light and texture. Take time to value their strength and resilience. It challenges my creativity.

Each new day, we all learn a little something about the many facets of gardening. Sit back and enjoy the creation made with your own hands. Take rest and reflect. Get inspired and energized. Engage and repeat.

In this time of uncertainty, rest assured we can be safely and happily gardening!
